Vegan Waffles

Steps

1. Mix together the milk, vanilla, vinegar/lemon juice together in a bowl

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt

3. Add the milk mixture, sugar and the melted butter into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined

4. Scoop about ½ cup of batter into a preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown on each side. Repeat with the remaining batter

5. Top with your favourite toppings! I topped with vegan cream, strawberries and organic maple syrup

- 1 ½ cups plant based milk

- ½ tsp vanilla

- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

- 2 cups oat flour

- 1 tbsp baking powder

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- ½ tsp salt

- 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar

- ¼ cup melted vegan butter or coconut oil
